Sound Mind, Sound Body

TV & Social

Founding Story

Moving Minds Since 1949.

Since the beginning ASICS’ purpose has been to help people to achieve a Sound Mind in a Sound Body. The founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka, saw that sport and movement had the power to lift spirits, project positivity and propel people and whole communities forward.

Today this is more relevant than ever before as stress and anxiety reach record levels. We know that sport and activity can benefit our minds.

Our film tells the story of ASICS noble origins, whilst encouraging more people to experience the positive impact of movement today - not just on the body, but also on the mind.

Alongside the Founding Story, we produced Sunrise Stories featuring athletes discussing their positive mental transformation at sunrise.
